Growing up in Philadelphia, Millynn.w's family dynamic was a
mix of cultures, her Liberian father, her West Philly Pentecostal mother, and
her rambunctious siblings. Even before entering the world, her mother’s
melodies on the church organ and worship songs surrounded her, setting the
stage for her musical journey right from the start.

While her family didn't follow the typical Sunday church routine, the essence
of the Bible, Christ, and The Divine always intrigued her deeply. However, the
expectations and rules imposed by the church and other religions left her
feeling conflicted and uncertain. This conflict eventually led her to break
away from the church, bearing the weight of past damage and feelings of not
belonging or being good enough. Alone she navigated the complexities of life as an unmarried mother.

Feeling lost and disillusioned, she realized that the identity standards set by
the church and society didn't align with who she truly was. Turning inward for
guidance, she sought solace in her faith and the promise of a divine
connection.

Hebrews: 8:10

“For this is the covenant that I
will make with the house of Isreal after those days, says Adonai. I will put My
Torah into their mind, and upon their hearts I will write it. And I will be
their God, and they shall be my people”.

After leaving a stable banking career to pursue music full-time, Millynn.w
faced challenges and setbacks that rocked her confidence. Amidst doubts and
questioning her calling, she embarked on a journey of self-discovery, returning
to school to hone her music skills and connect with fellow creatives who shared
her passion.

Through her music, Millynn.w finds solace and purpose, crafting songs that
speak to God, culture, and the hearts of those in need of inspiration and
healing. Seeking to embody both strength and gentleness, she aspires to uplift
others, instill hope, and urge them to embrace their true selves. For written
on their hearts and minds God true designed for them is there.

In a world shrouded in darkness, where light is scarce, Millynn.w emerges as a
beacon of love and authenticity, striving to create the change she envisions.
